I believe my mid-school crisis is over. As I continue to work with children with Autism, my love of this field grows. It's amazing the things we can do. I can't describe the excitement I feel after seeing my girl learn a new sign for requesting. Giving communication to a child? I can't imagine doing anything more important.

what ages do you work with? Haylee was a late talker and so we signed with her in order for her to communicate...Nathan is also signing for everything. How is Florida? How was Amy's wedding?
My experience so far has been 3-5 year-olds. My current client is 3 1/2 years-old. I will be expanding to older individuals and other types of populations while in school...
Signing is fantastic... I have to be careful with my kiddos in making sure it is used to augment opposed to replace vocal verbal behavior.
I am thrilled that you were able to use sign for your kids! That's so exciting.
Florida is fantastic. Amy's wedding was wonderful. Do you use your facebook? I started using it again and we should catch up!
